User Research

Extensive research was conducted to understand travelers’ and tourists’ preferences, needs, and pain points. User feedback and
insights were gathered to inform the design and functionality of the app.

 1. Online Surveys:
Linkitsoft conducted online surveys targeting potential users of the JTI Tourism App to gather demographic information, travel
preferences, and pain points. The survey questions explored preferred travel destinations, desired features in a tourism app,
challenges during trip planning, and expectations for personalized recommendations.

 2. In-depth Interviews:
We conducted one-on-one interviews with frequent travelers and industry professionals to gain deeper insights into their travel
planning experiences and pain points. The interviews focused on understanding their frustrations with existing tourism apps,
their desired features and functionalities, and the unique aspects of their travel preferences that could be catered to by JTI.

 3. Usability Testing:
We created interactive prototypes of the JTI Tourism App and conducted usability testing sessions with diverse participants. The
participants were given specific tasks, such as booking a hotel or discovering local attractions, while their interactions with the
app were observed. The aim was to identify any usability issues, navigation challenges, or areas where the user experience could
be improved.

4. Field Studies:
Linkitsoft observed and conducted field studies with travelers during their trips to gain real-time insights into their on-the-go
needs, challenges, and interactions with the JTI Tourism App. This involved accompanying users on their trips, observing how
they used the app, and documenting their feedback and pain points as they encountered various travel scenarios.

5. Competitor Analysis:
We thoroughly analyzed existing tourism apps to understand their strengths, weaknesses, and gaps in the market that JTI could
capitalize on. The analysis focused on features, user experience, customer reviews, and competing app ratings. This helped
identify opportunities for JTI to differentiate itself and provide unique value to its users.
