Before Jood, donors had to visit each organization separately, and tracking donations was time-consuming. The client wanted to simplify the donation process. Linkitsoft presented a solution that would ensure transparency and provide secure, instant fund transfers through encrypted payment channels. Ultimately, the project aimed to make giving in Saudi Arabia trustworthy and digital.
In Saudi Arabia, donors often struggled to trust where their contributions were going. With no unified digital system, verifying if donations reached the right beneficiaries was nearly impossible. This lack of transparency led to hesitation and reduced participation in giving charity.
Linkitsoft built a secure and transparent digital platform for Jood. The system features encrypted payment channels and live donation tracking. This ensures every riyal reaches the right place. Donors can now contribute confidently and monitor their impact directly through Jood’s user-friendly portal.
Most donors in Saudi Arabia preferred using Arabic, but previous systems lacked proper language localization. This made it difficult for users to navigate and understand the various categories for donation options. Due to this, they weren’t able to complete their donations.
We developed Jood as a fully bilingual platform, supporting both Arabic and English interfaces. This eliminated accessibility issues and made giving charity online simple for all users. The intuitive design also lets donors choose from various charitable categories like Zakat, Sadaqah, mosque construction, and more, creating a seamless and personalized giving experience.
Managing multiple charity kiosks and franchises was challenging. Each partner needed control over their own content and donations, while the main organization wanted full oversight. This required a balance that traditional systems couldn’t handle effectively.
To simplify this, Linkitsoft implemented a two-layer admin structure. The Super Admin panel offers centralized control and visibility across all kiosks, while Franchise Admin panels allow partners to manage their own operations independently. This hierarchy not only streamlined management but also enabled a scalable, subscription-based model, allowing new partners to join the Jood ecosystem easily.
