The existing vending machine software was not built for the Malaysian market. Our client wanted a system that supported local payments, was simple to manage, and flexible enough to grow. The goal was to make machine operations easier while preparing the business for nationwide expansion.
The pre-installed smart vending machine software wasn’t designed for Malaysia. It didn’t support the local currency Malaysian Ringgit, the Malay national language, or the tax rules.
We customized the original software for the Malaysian market. We included the national language support, integrated MYR payments, and aligned everything with local tax regulations. After these updates, the machines were finally ready to be introduced to the public, without confusion or compliance risks.
Most Malaysians pay with e-wallets like Touch ’n Go, GrabPay, or ShopeePay. Since the vending machines didn’t support these, they weren’t practical to be introduced in the country.
Our team integrated all the popular local e-wallets and gateways. This gave people the freedom to pay with the methods they already use daily. This simple fix made the machines not just launch-ready. It also made it attractive to modern customers who expect fast and cashless payments.
At first, the vending machines worked on their own. There was no connection to a central system. Our client couldn’t see its sales, check stock levels, or learn what customers liked.
We built APIs that linked every machine to UvendTech’s backend. Now sales, stock updates, and customer insights appear in real time. This gave UvendTech full control and made the machines ready for wide deployment.
Before our updates, there was no way to manage or monitor machines remotely. If our client wanted to update software, push promotions, or check performance, it had to be done manually on-site.
We created a central dashboard with live monitoring, predictive alerts, and remote update features. We also enabled UI customization, which allowed UvendTech to brand machines and run campaigns easily. These changes turned the machines into a scalable and market-ready solution.
The vending software was made for Malaysian people with the national language Malay, local MYR currency, and local tax rules. This ensured both compliance and customer convenience.
The software was linked with CRM, inventory, and reporting systems. This gave UvendTech clear data on sales and stock, boosting efficiency.
We designed a flexible interface where UvendTech could run loyalty programs, coupons, and brand campaigns directly on their vending screens.
We connected the system with all popular Malaysian payment options like Touch ‘n Go, GrabPay, Boost, and ShopeePay. So, customers could pay in whatever way they prefer.
